Stefan Kapferer was born on 6th November 1965 in Karlsruhe; he is married and has two children.
Abitur university entrance qualification, military service with the Air Defence Regiment 300 in Marburg/Lahn, followed by studies of administrative sciences in Konstanz. Graduation with the degree of Diplom-Verwaltungswissenschaftler.
